But this Fall, she’s planning her return—and what better way to celebrate that strength than with a day that was all about her? Her wish? A shopping spree!
The day started in style with an early morning pickup in a big white stretch limo (yes, she rode like a queen), heading to The Original Pancake House where she was surprised with a special gift basket before the mall even opened. The excitement was just getting started… Wishes Can Happen gifted her with a pink (her FAVORITE color) book brimming with gift cards—and the look on her face said everything. Pure joy. Pure gratitude.
Then came her must-stop: Hollister. And WOW—they showed up! LaNiya was welcomed by a cheering team at the entrance, a personalized sign with her name, beautiful decorations, another incredible gift bag, AND a $250 gift card. Coupled with what we gave her, a lot of bags were toted out of Hollister! The love in that moment? Unforgettable. From there, it was store after store, smile after smile… and yes, she just about shopped until she dropped!
But more than the shopping, this day was about hope, resilience, and celebrating a young woman stepping boldly back into her future.
