All WishesLeah's plans for college were interrupted by cancer. Going through totally unplanned medical procedures, tests, and treatments - a break came, and she was able to take her very much carefully thought out wish - a trip to the place that had brought her family so much joy for so many years, 7 or 8 consecutive except for the year when cancer happened - Jekyll Island! There were countless unforgettable moments, including a private dawn patrol to check sea turtle hatchling nests before making their way to the ocean. The generosity received from the good people on Jekyll Island was beyond our wildest expectations for a wish recipient. Mom summed it up perfectly: "The tour was the COOLEST experience we have ever had on Jekyll!" Thank you all for helping making wishes like Leah's come true!
