All WishesAutumn's cancer was unrelenting, requiring a bone marrow transplant. Prior to the upcoming long hospitalization, Wishes Can Happen did a rush shopping spree wish so that she could purchase computer equipment and other electronics to help pass the time. Autumn took her two biggest supporters - mom and best friend, to the mall of her choice - Legacy Village. Her wish granter, Madelyn, took along her sister to help carry everything! Now, you've heard the addage, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," right? Well, this bunch of girls had lots of fun and did some major shopping while we were at it. Autumn went to her favorite stores - American Eagle, Sephora, Victoria's Secret and more - and then had a beautiful idea to make an unexpected stop at Pandora. She picked out a beautiful bracelet for herself with meaningful charms, and also chose some special charms for her mom and best friend, bringing tears to their eyes. A whole BIG bunch of fun was had at the Apple Store, where they rolled out the red carpet for Autumn with personal shopper attention to get her the latest and best technology to occupy her after her transplant. The road to recovery is long, and we can't wait to hear that her journey to recovery is finished and she can resume doing all the things she loves again! Just got word that she may be leaving the hospital soon and going home to recover!
