Hazel
All WishesHazel is one of the toughest and sweetest little ones we have been blessed to grant a wish for. She is completely non-verbal - but her expressions say more than words ever could. She has a great love for Mickey and all things Halloween. She has been sick since the day she was born and has battled more than most will in a lifetime. She does not know any different and can teach the world the true meaning of resilience. She has been receiving chemo for months, just short of 2 months before her trip to Disney, another tumor and now a third type of cancer has been diagnosed. Hazel and her brother, Jasper, along with her mom and stepdad enjoyed the Disney Parks and Universal, hitting every stop they could. Her favorite part was receiving and giving hugs with all the characters, and Donald and the Chipmunks gave her plenty of extra attention. She also rode her first coaster and absolutely loved it! Hazel's family told us all about their adventures when they returned over a box of Dunkin Donuts that Hazel enjoyed licking every drop of icing from each one. Hazel's future is very uncertain, but her family fills her every single day with love and normalcy.
