All WishesTHIS IS WHAT WE DO: THANK YOU FOR BEING A HERO TO LOCAL KIDS! Evan was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor last year and has fought valliantly ever since. Originally paralyzed on one side, he regained his ability to walk again - not every bit of strength - but enough to be able to resume doing what he loves . . . being a member of the marching band with his drum. Evan's wish was different for us - first ever, we believe! He attended the Drum Corp International Competition in Indianapolis during this year's Wish-A-Thon. Evan arrived in Indianapolis to the Governor's Suite at the Hyatt Regency. Imagine their surprise when they went into this fancy suite with a view, kicking off his wish! We wanted to make it easy on the family and so arranged limo rides for everything they did. The day before all the Drum Corp excitement, he was a special guest at the Indianapolis Zoo with behind the scenes tours and a photographer. On Friday and Saturday, he attended the Drum Corp International's Competitions with premier seats, complete with behind the scenes looks and experiences, AND was honored to be a GUEST JUDGE with a special introduction and the whole crowd cheering for him!
