Daniel's wish was a lot of fun for us! A huge NY Yankees fan, his wish was to go to a home game in NYC and see the sights! The family was whisked to the airport for an early morning flight to the Big Apple, where they stayed in the NY Marriott Marquis suite hotel in the heart of Times Square. They toured the Statue of Liberty area and many other sites using hop-on/hop off double decker buses. On the day of the big game, they were picked up in a stretch limo and delivered to the world famous Yankee Stadium! The family was treated to many special experiences - including being featured on the JUMBOTRON during the game. And, in true "make this the wish of a lifetime" fashion, those Yankees pulled out a win for Daniel. They had a wonderful time in New York. Shortly after his wish, Daniel had open heart surgery and is reported to be doing very well!
