Naudia

All Wishes

Naudia was diagnosed with an aggressive form of pediatric MS. Because of minimal treatment options, she underwent Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant hoping to eliminate the immune cells responsible for the underlying autoimmune disease. During the month she was in the hospital, Wishes Can Happen went to work making a 'dream space' for her to recover and isolate in upon her homecoming.

Naudia is a vibrant 16-year-old! She is a 4.0 student, currently working on her honors diploma. She’s also a three-year letterman in volleyball and competes at the national level in JO. She has a passion for anything art-related. She is extremely excited to go to college but has not settled on a school just yet. Prior to her illness, her favorite thing was driving and enjoying coffee with friends and TikTok.

She is very sick and has had a long year to arrive at this terrible diagnosis. But not once has she complained or lost hope. She’s truly an incredible kid and is really looking forward to feeling better.

Her room was made possible with generous donations by Dan's Carpet and Lowes, as well as deep discounts from the general contractor, Sim's Hardwood Flooring. Her mom says, "She adores her room and having the space is so great with having to keep her isolated. She is safe there, and has so many options to keep herself occupied. Thank you all so much - I can't imagine what we would have done without you!"
