It is that time again for The Greg Sterling Memorial Ride. After the passing of our father one of Beaver Excavating's owners Greg Sterling in 2012 we honor him with a yearly ride that will help support the community. We study the roads of mid-Ohio to find the absolute best twisty and exciting routes possible. It’s about bringing people together, creating new friendships and raising awareness for children who need our help. It is not just a motorcycle ride; it’s an event to raise money for a non-profit organization. Greg Sterling was a man who never met a stranger and always helped those who were in need, no matter what past they may have had. Sunday, August 26, 2018 will be the day we honor him on the open road.
This year all proceeds will be donated to Wishes Can Happen. Wishes Can Happen makes wishes come true for children with life-threatening illnesses in Ohio. Last year this ride raised $20,000 for this charity, granting at least 5 children with wishes of their choice.
We will make our way south and shred the southeastern curves of the state. We are ending at Wood's Tall Timbers Resort in New Phili where we will enjoy a buffet catered by Hog Heaven. Admission is $35 single rider $60 double rider. Admission gets you a poly-blend full-color tee shirt, breakfast and lunch. Kindly RSVP by August 14th to guarantee lunch and shirt.
