Lincoln was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma with an ALK mutation, a mutation where the cancer cells will outsmart the chemotherapy. He had 6 rounds of chemotherapy and then started his stem cell transplant, followed 3 months later with 6 rounds of radiation. Then 6 rounds of immunotherapy will hopefully help mature the remainder active cancer cells into non cancerous cells. He’s had 6 surgeries,(med port, stem cell harvest, GTube, his bone marrow biopsy, removal of his kidney, broviac placement/removal). Lincoln is due to complete his treatments later this year, and is now active and energetic (especially when he sees anything Spiderman!). He and his family enjoyed their trip to Give Kids the World and the Disney parks!
